No signature box or an error when trying to use a Signature Pad with Chrome or Edge

Capture Tool Failed: TypeError: document.forms(0).esCapture1.ClearSign is not a function error pops up instead of the signature box No signature box appears when trying to sign using an Epad Electronic Signature Pad in Chrome or Edge

This has been caused by the latest Chrome/Edge update please carry out the following;
Please note it has been found that version 13 of the software from epadlink does not work. The below has been tested and confirmed as working.

  1. Plug in the epad

  2. Install http://www.epadsupport.com/downloads/Topaz/SigCaptureWebSDK_1.2.10.0.exe

  3. Install https://www.epadlink.com/software/UI12.4.R12285_setup.exe

  4. In Chrome, go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/epadlink-sigcaptureweb-sd/idldbjenlmipmpigmfamdlfifkkeaplc and install the extension

Once these are installed, follow the below steps within Weighsoft;

  1. Load up Weighsoft and go to Administration

  2. Click on Users

  3. Choose a user, you can use the isys user

  4. Scroll down to 'User Signature' in the Settings section and click Take signature with ePad Device

  5. The signature pad should start up and you should get a popup on the screen
