A posting to SmartWaste can fail for a variety of reasons, below are examples of the error messages:
MESSAGE FROM SMARTWASTE: - TOTAL PERCENTAGE SHOULD BE GREATER THAN 0
This error message is pushed through from Smartwaste so you will need to contact them to find the resolution.
ERROR OCCURRED DURING POST: ERROR DURING OUTLET xxx ASSIGN TO PROJECT xx: YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS PROJECT
If your Smartwaste transactions are failing to post for this reason, this is a permission error on the client end as you do not have access to the project. To resolve please contact your client and ask them to check the user permissions in Smartwaste.
NO SUPPLIER ON TRANSACTION AND NO DEFAULT IN SYSTEM SETTINGS
There is no Supplier on the Transaction you are trying to post. You can resolve this by editing the transaction and adding the relevant Supplier to it.
NO OUTLET SET
There is no Outlet on the Transaction you are trying to post. You can resolve this by editing the transaction and adding the relevant Outlet to it.
NO TIP OUTLET
There is no Tip Outlet on the Transaction you are trying to post. You can resolve this by editing the transaction and adding the relevant Tip Outlet to it.
WASTE TYPE NOT FOUND
There is no Waste Type on the Transaction you are trying to post. You can resolve this by editing the transaction and adding the relevant Waste Type to it.
YOU CANNOT ADD OR UPDATE DATA ON THIS PROJECT AS 3 MONTHS HAVE ALREADY PASSED SINCE IT WAS COMPLETED
The project which the ticket is against has an End Date that is more than 3 months in the past and so Smartwaste will not allow it to be amended. You will need to contact Smartwaste to get this looked into.
RATE START DATE AND END DATE IS OVERLAPPING
A rate (recycle, energy recovery etc.) on the Waste Destination (Outlet) in SmartWaste overlaps with a range we're sending up. You must login to SmartWaste, go to that Waste Destination and delete the rates. They will go back up when the transaction gets posted
ERROR DURING OUTLET XXXX POST: - RECYCLING RATE DATE RANGE 'XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX' IS OVERLAPPING WITH AN EXISTING RATE'S DATE RANGE FOR THIS CONTRACTOR OR WITHIN THE REQUEST JSON
A Recycle Percentage date range is overlapping with the date range in SmartWaste. Head to the Product Recycle Percentages lookup, and delete or update to match that shown in SmartWaste.
