The error document cannot be securely downloaded is a browser security error that occurs when downloading files via HTTP rather than HTTPS. To identify if you are connecting to Weighsoft via HTTPS:
Navigate to Weighsoft in your web browser
Check if the not secure message shows in the navigation bar to the left of the URL:
If you can see the Not Secure message, then Weighsoft is being accessed via HTTP. If no message is seen, then access is via HTTPS.
In the long term, Weighsoft should be set up for access via HTTPS. This can be done in two ways:
Contact your IT team to implement SSL for Weighsoft
Contact your account manager to discuss Access hosting and migration.
In the short term, this error can be switched off for Weighsoft by:
Clicking on Not Secure in the address bar
Click Permissions for this site
Change Insecure content to allow
If your Weighsoft installation is already hosted or on premises and using HTTPS, please raise a case so we can investigate further.
