Accounts are pulled to Sage 50 into Weighsoft via a service running in the background on the server. You need to raise a case with Support in order the sync to be looked into, but the below factors can help us find the issue more quickly:
Are all mandatory fields filled in?
Accounts won't sync from Sage to Weighsoft if mandatory fields are not completed in Sage, for example, Account name.
Has Sage been upgraded?
If Sage 50 has been upgraded then this could result in the account sync not working. in this instance support will need to confirm that your version of Weighsoft is compatible with the new version of Sage, as well as making adjustments to Weighsoft itself.
Has the Sage data has been moved?
If you have recently had a server migration or your IT team has made any changes to the server on which your sage data is stored, this could affect Weighsoft's ability to connect to it.
If the data or the sage server itself has been moved or had any work carried out then you will need to raise a case with support and provide full details on what was changed (for example any permission changes, where the full file path of where the date has been moved to or when the work was carried out).
Has the Sage server been rebooted?
If the server is rebooted while an account sync is in progress the background service will lose it's connection but not recognize that it has crashed. This means the service will not restart as it normally would due to being seen as still running through a accounts sync.
