Overview

The Move Records function in Weighsoft should only be used when the original address must remain on the account, such as when there are open orders that need to stay linked to the existing account.

If everything related to the address (e.g., orders, quotes, transactions) needs to be moved, use the steps in the "Move an Address between Accounts" article.

Important: The Move Records function is very powerful and should only be used if you are confidant in carrying out the process

Before You Begin

Ensure you have:

  • The address you want to move items from

  • The address you want to move items to

These addresses must already exist or be created before proceeding.
