To ensure vehicles do not exceed their maximum allowed weight when crossing the weighbridge, you can configure the system to either warn the operator or prevent the weighbridge from proceeding. Follow the steps below to enable these settings.
Step 1: Configure Weighbridge Behaviour
Navigate to Administration > Settings.
In the left-hand menu, click Weighbridge.
Scroll down to the Other section under the Main heading.
Enable one or both of the following options:
Warn if gross weight is exceeded – Displays a warning when a vehicle exceeds its maximum weight.
Stop weighbridge if gross weight exceeds vehicle max – Prevents the weighbridge from operating if the vehicle is overweight.
These options rely on the Max Weight value set for each vehicle.
Step 2: Set Vehicle Maximum Weight
Navigate to Administration > Lookups.
Click Vehicles.
Locate the vehicle you want to update and click the Edit button.
Enter the appropriate value in the Max Weight field.
Click Save to apply the changes.
