Weighsoft does support importing data for certain elements of the system.
The options can be found by following the steps below:
Hover on Administration
Click on Lookups
Click on Imports
The screen will show a list of items that can be imported with the use of a downloadable template. The process for using them is as follows:
Locate the data type you want to import
Click on the Download Template option - this will download an Excel sheet template for that data type
Enter the required data into the template, making sure to fill in all required fields
Save the completed spreadsheet somewhere easy to find, for example, your desktop
Go back to the Imports screen in Weighsoft and click on Choose File at the top of the screen
Select the spreadsheet on your desktop
Locate the data type you downloaded and click on the Process link on the right.
If there is any required data missing from the import file, then you will get an error message at the top of the screen.
The system will process the data on the spreadsheet and import it into the required section of Weighsoft.
