Waste Carrier License Warning

This article details how to setup warnings for when a suppliers Waste Carrier License has expired

Overview

Once the license expiry date is set against a supplier the system can be setup to display a warning on the Weighbridge is a vehicle using an expired license comes in, as well as send out a daily email listing hauliers whose licenses are due to expire soon.


Set the Waste Carrier expiry date

The expiry date for the license needs to be set against the Supplier/Haulier.

  1. Go to Administration>Lookups>Suppliers

  2. Locates the required supplier and click the Edit button

  3. Click on the Haulier tab

  4. Set the expiry date

  5. Click Save


Weighbridge screen alert

You can set up a warning to appear on the Weighbridge by following the below steps:

  1. Hover over Administration

  2. Click on Settings

  3. Click on Weighbridge

  4. Scroll down to the "Other" section

  5. Search for and enable the "Waste Carrier No Expiry Alert" option

  6. Scroll back to the top and click on Save


Now if a vehicle is selected where the suppliers license has expired you will get a warning message at at the top of the screen, as well as an option to carry on creating the job or cancel it completely.


Automatic Internal Alert

You can set the system to send out a daily email listing any hauliers whose waste carrier license is due to expire soon

  1. Hover over Administration

  2. Click on Alerts

  3. Select Internal on the left-hand side

  4. Scroll down to the WCID Expiry Alert section

  5. Enable the options as described below

    1. Send Email - tick this box to have the email be sent out every day

    2. Email To - enter the email address that will receive the list. note: this should be an internal email address and not a customer one.

    3. Alert Days Before - the number of days in advance the email will be sent

    4. Alert Time - the time at which the email will be sent out
