How can I track emails?

This article details how you can search the system for emails sent out of Weighsoft

Overview

Weighsoft does have the ability to search the emails that have been sent.

Note: Although the emails are created in Weighsoft they are sent from your own system. So although an email may show as "Sent" from Weighsoft you would need to check your own email server to 100% confirm it was actually sent on to the customer.


Tracking Emails

There are 2 ways to track outgoing emails, and they depend on if the email was a one-off that was sent manually, or part of a mail-run

Tracking One-off Emails

  1. Go to Administration>Emails

  2. Click on Search in the top-right

  3. Use the filters to find the required email (the most common filters would be the date range and entering the recipients email address in the "To" field)

  4. Click Search

The screen will list all emails that match the filters you set.

Note: The larger the date range set, the longer the search may take to compete

Tracking Emails in Mail-Runs

  1. Go to Modules>Invoicing>Mail Run Tracker

  2. Click on Search in the top-right

  3. Use the filters to, for example, enter the recipients email address in the "Email Address" field.

  4. Click Search

The screen will display every mail run that contains an email matching the criteria you set.
