Estimated Weights can only be used for Skip jobs in regards to Digital Waste Tracking.
Setup
You will first need to setup the Estimated Weight values in Administration>Lookups>Product Estimated Weights.
Once in that screen you can use the fields to create an entry.
Set the relevant values in the Product (container or skip), Waste Type, Account and Estimated Weight fields, then click on Insert to save the entry
Note: The system gives you the option of creating an entry for a Product, Waste Type and Account.
The minimum requirement is the Product, the Waste Type and Account are optional and dependant on how precise or granular you want the estimates to be
In the above example we have created an entry for the "10YDEST" skip and the "MIXMUNI" Waste Type.
Process
Once an entry has been setup, if a skip job is completed with no NetWeight value the DWT process will instead refer back to the product Estimated Weight screen and look for a match.
The Weight from the first match it finds will be applied to the message.
Note: the Estimated Weight will not be pulled through to the transaction and will not appear on any internal Waste Report, it will only be used for Digital Waste Tracking messages.
Example
In the below example we have created an entry in Lookups>Product Estimated Weights for the "10YDEST" skip and the "MIXMUNI" Waste Type with an Estimated Weight of 459kg.
We have then created an Exchange skip job for that product and Waste Type, and completed it in the Outstanding Ticket screen without putting it over the Weighbridge or manually applying any tonnage values.
The message appears in the Digital Waste Tracking screen (in Administration>Digital Waste Tracking) and the Estimated Weight has been applied (the weight reading is also flagged as "Estimated")
