Overview
Weighsoft restricts users from selecting past dates when creating a skip order. This is a built-in safeguard to prevent scheduling errors and ensure operational accuracy.
Behaviour
When creating a skip order:
The Order Date field will grey out any dates prior to the current date, making them unavailable for selection.
For example, if today's date is 09/09/2025, then 08/09/2025 and earlier will be greyed out and cannot be selected directly.
Workaround
If you need to create an order with a past date, you can do so by following these steps:
Select the earliest available date (i.e., today’s date or the next available).
Save the order to complete the initial creation.
Reopen the order and manually update the Order Date field to the desired past date.
Note: The date must be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format.
