Overview
While Credit Limits can be set either in Weighsoft or via your accounts package, there may be times when you ned to extend that limit temporarily
Process
Navigate to the account in question
Click on Credit Extension on the left-hand side
In the following screen enter a date at which the extension will expire and click on Set
Note: the date is inclusive, so setting the date to 01/10/25 will mean the extension expires on 02/10/25
Once set, that account will bypass all Credit Limit checks until that date is met, at which point the extension will be automatically removed.
Checking for an active extension
To see whether a credit extension is currently active on an account, navigate to the account and it will be visible at the bottom of the Credit Control section on the account homepage. Any active extension expiry date will be displayed there.
Note: On Access-Hosted systems running v5.540 or above, you can view active extensions across all accounts in one place using the Account Credit Extension app in Evo.
