Before you begin:
⚠️Important: This article is for temporarily disabling and enabling an existing account's sync. If you have never had a functioning accounts sync from your accounts package to Weighsoft, please contact your account manager first.
For self-hosted installations
If you manage your own Weighsoft installation, follow these steps:
To disable the sync service
Connect to the server where Weighsoft is installed
Open Services console:
Press the Start button
Type "Services" in the search box
Click on Services from the results
Locate the service:
In the services list, find Isys Credit Control Service (instance Name)
Configure the service:
Right-click on the service and select Properties
Change Startup Type to Disabled
Click OK
Stop the service:
Click Stop to halt the service immediately
To Enable the sync service
Follow steps 1-3 above to locate the service
Configure the service:
Right-click on the service and select Properties
Change Startup Type to Automatic (Delayed Start)
Click OK
Start the service:
Click Start to begin the service immediately
For Access-hosted installations
If your Weighsoft system is hosted by Access and you cannot find the Credit Control Service in your services list, this requires support intervention to restart the service.
