Overview

Weighsoft has the ability to set a Priority for all skip jobs. This can help you decide which jobs need to be actioned first.

Setting the Priority on a Job

When Creating the job from the order

When you create a job from a skip order the priority is a drop-down on the screen. The level will default to "3" for all new jobs but can be set to 2 or 1 as required.

After Job Creation

If the jobs has been related without a Priority, or the Priority needs to be amended, you can do this from the Operations screens.

  1. Navigate to your chosen Operations screen

  2. Locate the job

  3. Right-Click on the job

  4. Select Update Job Details

  5. Amend the Priority as required

  6. Click on Update or Update Job (depending on which screen you are using)

Note: The priorities are hard-coded to display as certain colours:
Priority 3 = Yellow
Priority 2 = Orange
Priority 1 = Red

Viewing the Priority

The priority of a job is viewable on the below screens.

Skip Operations

The priority of the job is on the Operations screen by default - you may need to scroll to the right to view it initially.

if you want to move the Priority column (or any other column on the Operations screen) elsewhere in the column order then right-click on any job on the screen and select Alter Table Columns. You can use the list on the right-hand side to drag the columns into any order you wish.

Operations Multi Vehicle

By default the priority does not show in the job box on this screen.

You can add it by click on the the "Setup Fields" box and then following the below steps:

  1. Click on Add Row

  2. Select the new blank row

  3. Select "Priority" from the drop down on the right

  4. Click on Add Item

  5. Click on Save View

Note: These steps will add the priority in its own line in the box and is the most simple method for it to be shown.
If you wish to add the priority to an existing line you will need to delete the items currently in that row and re-add them with new size values (keeping in mind that each row has a maximum value of 100%)
