Reset a Job to "Active"

This article details how to set a job back to the "Active" status

Written by Noel

If a job has been cancelled in error or needs to be reactivated for amendments, Weighsoft provides a straightforward way to reset the job to an active status.

Access to reset a job relies on either being a member of the Admin user group, or the user level permission "Admin Functions".

If you configure admin functions on a function by function basis the permission for Reset to Active needs to be allowed in "Admin Functions User Management".

Steps to Reactivate a Job

  1. Log in to Weighsoft

  2. Hover over Administration

  3. Click on Admin Functions

  4. Navigate to the General tab

  5. Enter the ticket number in the blank field and click Find

  6. Review the ticket details displayed

  7. Click Reset to Active

Optionally you can also delete the associated transaction and restore delete items that have been deleted on the Weighbridge by selecting the appropriate option.

Once completed, the job will be reset to active and available for editing and completion.

What Happens Next?

  • Skip, Material , RMC and Hazardous Jobs: These will return to an Active status and appear on the Outstanding Tickets screen.

  • Weighbridge Tickets: These will reappear on the On Site Tickets screen.

Important: if a job has been cancelled or completed on the mobile (shows as Mobile Cancelled or Mobile Complete), or invoiced, the job cannot be reset to active.
