Overview
The Outlet Waste Ratio screen is a method available only if your system is set to be an Agency or Broker (which is enabled via Administration>Settings>Agency).
As opposed to settign recycle/energy rates against products, this process allows you to set different recycle rates for the same product based on the outlet and supplier used for the job.
For example the below screen shows 2 entries on the screen for the same product. The recycle and energy recovery percentages are different depending on the supplier and the outlet
Important: The "Agency" option was developed specifically for Brokers and, when enabled, changes several fundamental processes through the system. It should not be enabled without first consulting your Account Manager and with oversight of the Professional Services team.
Locating the Screen
If you have the Agency option enabled you can access the screen by going to Administration>Lookups>Outlet Waste Ratio.
Creating a new entry on the Screen
Using the boxes at the top of the screen
Select a Supplier
Select an Outlet
Select a Product
Enter a Recycle Ratio
Enter an Energy Recovery Ratio
Enter the SmartWaste Management Route (only relevant if you are using SmartWaste).
Click the "+" button to add the entry to the screen
Once the entry is created all transaction that match the criteria from that point forward will use the new Recycle/Energy percentages . These values are then the ones that will appear on the Waste Reports.
