This article assumes the stop and warn settings for credit limit exceeded have been configured. Without this, the threshold notifications will not be triggered.
If you are using credit limits within Weighsoft, it is possible to send a notification when an accounts falls within a percentage of their credit limit remaining.
Note: this functionality is only triggered by work booked into Weighsoft taking the account over the threshold. If the threshold is reached, or credit limit exceeded by a balance or credit limit update from your accounts package, this will not trigger a notification.
To configure the notification:
Hover over Administration and click Settings
Click Finance on the left hand side
Set the percentage threshold (e.g. 5 for when there is only 5% of the limit remaining) in Approaching Credit Limit Alert
Enter the email address(es) separated by a semi-colon (;) into Credit Limit Job Email To
Click Save
Important: When setting the percentage value, this must be the numeric value, without the percentage sign.
Once configured, the notification will send when a job is booked in, that takes the credit limit within the percentage threshold, but does not cross the credit limit itself.
