Weighsoft is a browser-based application, and after an upgrade, it’s important to clear your browser cache to ensure the system functions correctly. Cached files from previous versions may conflict with updated components, causing display issues or malfunctioning features.
Why Clearing the Cache Is Important
Your browser stores temporary files (cache) to speed up loading times. However, after a Weighsoft upgrade, some of these files may be outdated. Continuing to use them can result in:
Broken or incorrectly displayed screens
Missing features
Unexpected errors
Clearing the cache ensures your browser loads the latest version of Weighsoft files.
Steps to Clear the Cache in Weighsoft
Follow these steps to refresh your browser and load the latest files:
Close Extra Tabs
Ensure only one Weighsoft tab is open.Access the Clear Storage Option
Go to the Weighsoft Homepage.
Click your username in the top-right corner.
Clear Local Storage
On the next screen, click Clear Local Storage.
In the options that appear, click All.
Force Refresh the Page
On Windows, press CTRL + F5.
On Mac, press Command + Shift + R.
Once completed, your browser will load the latest version of Weighsoft files.
Note: This process must be done on each computer individually, as browser caches are stored locally per user.
