Restoring Deleted Transactions in Weighsoft

Overview

If a transaction has been deleted in error, it can be restored using either the Default Transaction Screen or the Legacy Transaction Screen. This article outlines the steps for both methods.


Using the Default Transaction Screen

  1. Go to Administration > Transactions.

  2. Click the Filter button.

  3. Enter the ticket number in the Free Text Search box.

  4. Set the Show Deleted dropdown to Both or Yes.

  5. Click Search to display the deleted ticket.

  6. Click on the required transaction, then click Edit in the top-right corner.

  7. In the edit screen, untick the Deleted option on the right.

  8. Click Save at the top of the screen.


Using the Legacy Transaction Screen

  1. Go to Administration > Transactions.

  2. Click Search in the top-right corner to open the search filters.

  3. Set the Show Deleted filter to Show or Only.

  4. (Optional) Enter the ticket number in the Free Text field.

  5. Click Search in the bottom-right corner.

  6. If the transaction is found, click the Edit button (paper and pencil icon) on the left.

  7. In the edit screen, untick the Deleted option on the right.

  8. Click Save at the top of the screen.
