Weighsoft allows users to adjust price dates in bulk using the Price Adjustments function. This is useful for updating start/end dates across multiple price records efficiently.
Accessing Price Adjustments
Hover over Administration.
Click on Lookups.
Click on P, then select Prices.
In the Prices screen, click Price Adjustments.
Filtering Price Records
Upon loading, all price files are displayed in pages. Use the search box to filter results using the following criteria:
Filter | Description |
Start Date From / To | Filters prices starting within a date range. |
End Date From / To | Filters prices ending within a date range. Prices with no end date will be excluded if these are set. |
No End Date | Filters only prices without an end date. Leave End Date filters blank when using this. |
Account No / Address No | Filters prices linked to a specific account or address. |
Outlet Code / Price Group Code | Filters prices for a specific outlet or price group. |
Product Code / Supplier Code | Filters prices for a specific product or supplier. |
Unit Code / Zone Code | Filters prices by unit of sale or zone. |
Waste Type / Container | Filters prices by waste type or container. |
Account Price / Cash Price | Filters prices by value. |
System Prices Only | Filters prices not linked to any account or address. |
Exclude Supplier Prices | Filters out supplier-linked prices. Must be off to include supplier prices. |
Selecting Prices to Update
Apply filters and click Search.
Tick the checkbox next to the prices you want to update.
Only one page of results can be updated at a time.
Double-check each page before moving on.
🤓Tip: Export a copy of the filtered results before making changes.
Click Export to CSV to save a backup in case rollback is needed.
Updating Price Records
Click Update Records Found.
Fill in the update fields:
From Date: New start date.
To Date: New end date.
Remove the To Date: Clears the end date.
⚠️Warning: You can update both From Date and To Date together, but To Date and Remove the To Date cannot be used simultaneously.
Click:
Update All – to update all filtered results.
Update Selected – to update only the ticked items
📌Note: After updating, results may shift. Always re-check the page to ensure no prices are missed. You may need to repeat updates on the same page.
Rolling Back Changes
If a price update needs to be reversed, please raise a case with Support. The team will assist with rollback options.
