Lockout Criteria
A portal user will be locked out after five consecutive incorrect password attempts.
Steps to Unlock a User
Log in to the Web Portal using an Admin account.
Hover over the Admin menu.
Click on Users from the dropdown list.
Locked-out users will appear at the top of the list and are identified by a blue padlock icon next to their name.
Click the padlock icon to unlock the user.
Recommended Follow-Up Actions
Since the lockout is caused by incorrect password attempts, it may be helpful to:
Reset the user's portal password manually.
Or advise the user to use the "Forgotten password" link on the portal login page to reset it themselves.
