If you have a vehicle with VWS onboard weighing and our mobile trade solution it is possible to pull the weights through to the bin collections:
The vehicles with onboard weighing need to be configured on Weighsoft to have this setting enabled.
Hover over Administration then click Lookups
Click Vehicles
Click Edit next to the vehicle with onboard weighing
Enable On-board Weighing then click Save
Next the tablet to be used for the trade round must be configured via the main Android tablet settings (this will only need to be done once):
Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the tablet, after a short while the Bluetooth adapter should appear in the ‘Available devices’ list (the name you’ll be looking for is supplied with the Bluetooth adapters we have setup for you):
Tap on the device and you will be prompted to enter a PIN, enter 1234 and click OK.
After a short while the device will be displayed in the Paired devices list
Once paired the device will be available within the Weighsoft app. Finally, we need to configure the on-board weighing.
Return to the application login screen and enter the settings by clicking the cog.
Select External Devices, then Onboard Weighing
First select Weighing System and select the manufacturer from the list:
Finally select Bluetooth Device and select the device you just paired to from the list.
Click back until you reach the login screen
