Portal password reset email not received

Can't log into portal. Didn't receive portal password reset email Portal password not working

The system uses the SMTP details set up on the Weighsoft Portal, not on the Weighsoft 5 instance. You can view the SMTP details in the portal by following the below steps:

  1. Log in to Portal as an Admin user

  2. Hover over Admin

  3. Click on Settings

  4. Click on Emails

You should expect to see a value in each of the following details:

  • From Display Name

  • From Address

  • SMTP Server

  • SMTP Username

  • SMTP Password

  • Password Reset Email

    • Email Subject

    • Email Body


If the SMTP Server details in your Portal are blank, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

If these details are correct, you can view the portal password reset emails by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Portal as an Admin User

  2. Click Admin

  3. Click Emails

  4. Modify the From and To date fields to capture the correct dates

  5. Click on View Emails
