Overview
A job (be it skip, material, Ready Mix Concrete, etc) can only be set to "Cancelled" from the Outstanding ticket screen.
Process
Cancellation Button
In order to cancel a job, follow the below steps:
Go to the Outstanding Ticket screen for the module in question
Search for and locate the required job
Right-click on the job
Select Cancel
Cancellation Reason
Once you click on Cancel, you will be presented with a list of available cancellation reasons.
You must select a reason from the list to move forward
๐Note: Cancellation Reasons are created by your admin and can be created/edited/deleted in Administration>Lookups>Cancellation Type. More details on these can be found in the Cancellation Type knowledge article.
Charging for Cancellation
You then have the option of generating a charge for the job cancellation.
if you wish to charge the customer, then enable the Charge option, select a valid product and a charge value.
If you choose this option, then the system will generate a transaction against the customer to the set value, which will then be picked up for invoicing.
