Overview
The Lookups section of Weighsoft is where a large amount of the options throughout the system are created.
It is in Lookups that items such as Products, Outlets, Vehicles and Areas can be created and edited.
Locating the Lookups section
The Lookups screen is accessed by hovering on Administration and selecting the Lookups option.
📌Note: By default the lookups screen is only available to users in the Admin group. if you require access you will need to talk to a member of that group who can enable the "View Lookups" option for your user profile, as detailed in the "User Permissions" article
Exceptions
There are some items in the Lookups screen that are locked down and only accessible to the Access support and development teams.
These sections are the "Activity Code" and "Unit of Sale" sections.
They have been locked down as some of the data in them is hard-coded into the system and if they are changed or removed entire sections of the system will fail to run.
For example if you were to edit or delete the "RENTD" unit of sale then all rentals will stop working.
