Reconomy Jobs are accessed through Modules then Reconomy then Outstanding Jobs in the navigation menu.
Job Display and Sorting
Jobs are displayed with the oldest dates first by default. The system filters jobs based on their status:
Unscheduled: Jobs not yet accepted or rejected
In Query: Jobs flagged with questions
Accepted/Rejected: Completed actions
Job Information Panel
The information icon displays additional booking details including address, product, waste type, EWC code, movement item, and job status.
Action Options
The action column displays three options when a job is correctly configured:
Accept (green tick): Creates a Skip Order and Job in Weighsoft
Reject (red cross): Marks the job as rejected and notifies Reconomy
Query (yellow "?"): Flags the job for clarification
The system determines whether these options are available based on the following checks:
Job is not already accepted or rejected
Product is linked (not null)
Waste Type is linked (for standard movement types)
Movement Code is recognized
Querying Jobs
To query a job: Click the Query icon, enter your query message, and click Query. This then sends an email to Reconomy with the query details.
To remove a query: Click the Query icon again and select Remove Query. This removes the query and clears the query message.
๐Note: While in query status, Accept and Reject options are disabled.
Troubleshooting Missing Actions
If action options are unavailable, the job configuration is incomplete. Three common causes:
1. Missing Third Party Links
Check the Product, Waste Type, and EWC columns for red highlighting, indicating missing links.
Click the red item to access Third Party Lookups. The system displays the Reconomy code in the light blue box. Search for and select the corresponding Weighsoft item under "Our Code" to create the link.
๐คTip: At the top of the Third Party Lookups you will need change the drop down to the correct item you are looking to link. This will produce the correct list to display.
The system can automatically update missing links by
Hovering over Modules and clicking Reconomy
Clicking Admin Functions
Then clicking Check Reconomy Job Products and Waste Types.
2. Incorrectly Formed Jobs
Jobs with unrecognized movement types display only a "Remove" option. These require Reconomy to correct and resend the job data.
3. Missing User Permissions
Navigate to Administration then Users
Select the user
Go to the Permissions tab
Enable Accept, Reject and Query Reconomy Jobs.
Click Save
