Overview

The in-system vehicle checks are controlled via some settings as well as user permissions that are required to access and edit them.


Settings

The setting that control the vehicle checks are located in Administration>System Settings>Tracking>Vehicle Checks

  • Vehicle Checks Integrated With Weighsoft – This setting is the master setting that controls all the functionality. The default is set to false.

    • Note: if this is disabled then your system is not set up for in-system vehicle checks. If you would like to use this functionality please reach out to your Account Manager.

  • Vehicle Check Data Retention – This input takes a number which translates into years in which it keeps the vehicle check data for. The default is 2 years.

  • Import – This functionality is used to import vehicle check data from the legacy Fleeteye system.

    • This function should only be used by Access staff as part of setting the in-system checks up.


User Permissions

In order to edit the Vehicle check lists and items you will need to have the "Edit Vehicle Checks" permission enabled against your user.

Note: If you do not have the option enabled and cannot do so yourself, please raise this with an admin user.

The Support team is will not enable additional user permissions without written confirmation from a manager on your end.
