Vehicle Grey List

Overview

The Vehicle Grey List allow you to set a vehicle registration so it cannot be used for any Weighbridge Tickets.


Set Up

Grey List Types

The driver of the Grey List if the "Grey List Types" accessed via Administration>Lookups>Grey List Types

To add a new type:

  1. Navigate to Administration>Lookups>Grey List Types

  2. Enter the code and description of the type in the blank fields

  3. Click on Insert on the right

Settings

Ones the Grey List Types have been set the functionality needs to be enabled.

  1. Navigate to Administration>Settings>Weighbridge>Vehicle Grey List

  2. Enable the settings required

  3. Click on Save

Enable Vehicle Grey List

Enables or disables the functionality

Email To

Any emails entered here will receive an email when a vehicle Grey List notification is triggered on the Weighbridge

Multiple emails can be entered and separated by a ";"

Enable Vehicle Grey List

When enabled, the Vehicle Grey List banner will remain on the Weighbridge screen

A development ticket has been raised for this to be re-labelled to provide better clarity


Add a Vehicle to the Grey List

  1. Navigate to Administration>Lookups>Vehicle Grey List

  2. Click on Add A New Item

  3. Fill in the details as required (see below table)

  4. Click on Create

Once a vehicle is added to the list the Grey List banner will appear at the top of the screen when that vehicle is used for a Weighbridge Job.

Field

Description

Registration

Enter the registration of the vehicle

Ticket No

Outlet

When set, the stop will only apply to this vehicle when used against this Outlet

Account

When set, the stop will only apply to this vehicle when used against this Account

Address

When set, the stop will only apply to this vehicle when used against this Address

Location

When set, the stop will only apply to this vehicle when used against this Weighbridge location

On Stop

When enabled the Grey List warning will prevent the job from being created

Stopper Expires

Can be used to set and End Date against the stop. once the date is passed ticket will be allowed against the vehicle again

Last Stopped

Last date of the last job stopped

Stopper Count

The number of times the stop has been triggered

Grey List Type

As selected from the entries in Lookups>Grey List Type

Hire Vehicle

Is the vehicle a hire vehicle?

Notes

Any internal notes can be entered here (these note will not appear in the on-screen message)


Result

Once the above is set, if that vehicle comes onto the Weighbridge the system will display the below message when you try to create the job

If the "Email" option is enable the recipients will receive an email in the below format:
